Maybe they discovered that offering unlimited accounts is unsustainable, or
perhaps they attracted enough users with the 'unlimited' sweetener, and are
now using the bait and switch tactic to switch them to a profitable service.
Note that 3G/month is a _lot_, and is not "killing" internet usage.

This is a perfect eg of why people shouldn't get sucked in by 'unlimited'
accounts, and why I go with an ISP that uses a profitable business model for
the plan I am on.
