I think you could possibly remap your current keyboard to 
Spanish characters, but of course you wouldn't see the characters. This
would be useful if you could touch type with a Spanish keybord as you
don't need to see the letters to touch type (for example, I have 
keyboard with half the letters erased, it's so old, but it's a favourite
and I won't get rid of it ;-P)
