I have been using iPrimus for over 2 years now (for
dialup) and find their techincal support be very
unhelpful - especially considering that people using
Windows have reported similar problems (loss of DNS,
etc).

Basically - my connection will just die.  No packets
going in our out and only a hard reset of the
connection will fix the problem.  Only Mozilla seems
to be able to retrieve mail without killing the
connection for some reason.  Someone once mentioned to
me that the connection will die if I don't go through
their proxy.

I have tried other modems, ever PPP option under the
sun, every discussion group I can think of, watching
the logs for errors, you name it - zilch.

As soon as I find a better pricing plan I will jump
ship but unfourtunately they have the best pricing
plan that I am aware of right now.

What problems are you having anyway?
