I dont think it is good, but I dont think it is unfair.
You dont have to use Telstra and if you did use Telstra already did you
could now back out of the contract penatlty free.

I suspect $11 really gets you some server space for mail(not web, only one
bit of web space per service) and pays for a bit of admin/support,
probably at very profitable rates - of course sales  droid probably doenst
really know how they cost a product, so couldnt really give you info.

As an aside I have at least one friend in Propsect who has Telstra ADSL.
