Does anyone know how to force the RH7.1 graphical install touse XF86_SVGA?
Hi,
I am trying to get the RH7.1 graphical install to work under VMware.
It currently doesn't, because RH uses XF86_FBdev, while VMware provides a
standard SVGA device with a slightly non-standard name, it seems, when it
is probed.
I have modified the installer to hard start XF86_SVGA, and it is close to
working, but have to create an aweful lot of CDs.
Is there an easier way, given that I must run the graphical install?
Regards
