RE: Help on SSH

it sounds like you need to add the windows machine to the /etc/hosts file

Make sure the windows box is running dns (tcp/ip properties for the network
card)

(i am presuming you are ssh'ing over a LAN)

also check your hosts.allow
and hosts.deny in the /etc folder.
