Richard,

I used connect.com.au for a while overseas, and they seemd
to work fine. No problems with SuSE 6.2 on my laptop and
wvdial etc. etc.
But they charge for the months when you don't use it,
whereas internode have no charge in idle months, and their
hourly rate is marginally lower, although their up-front cost
is higher.
So I swapped to internode GRIC access.

But on the actual quality of the connectivity, I didn't
see any difference at all.
It's all the same system, isn't it?
People like connect.com.au and internode are really just
GRIC retailers, aren't they?

Cheers,
Alan Kennington.
