FYI, the Home Highway ISDN service can get ping times as good as 19ms when
dialling up to a provider with good enough access server equipment (ie: Adam
Internet :). And it doesn't come with the big monthly pricetag of ADSL if
you use DOV..

celeron ~500 + linux + netjet card     >= 19ms
p133 + linux + netjet card                   >= 32ms
Cisco 1603   >= 23ms
PIII-667 + win98 + netjet card   >= 90ms

Even at 56K DOV, ISDN can have a good enough ping time to make the Telstra
ADSL users scream at you for cheating :)
