Perl script / shell script?

OK, here's one for ya, :)

I have a perl script that I named 'scaddvsite'.  I need to make a shell
script of the same name that echos the perl script to the shell and will
react exactly as if it were the perl script when/if the perl script is in
need of calling itself.

shell script
      perl script

begin of execution:
shell script executes -> perl script executes

Later in execution:
executing perl script -> shell script -> perl script

result is that perl script executes as normal.

hehe.  I can't get it to work.  can someone else?
