I got a visit from the Roy Morgan Research people on the
weekend and got hit with a ton of survey forms, for which
me filling out they donate $30 to the National Trust.

As I'm doing this there are some computing questions,
including "what operating system is installed on your
home PC" (or wording to that effect). One of the tick
boxes was Linux.

So if an enterprising reporter wants to know what the
penetration of Linux into home computers is (rather
than the IDC statistsics which give the operating systems
shipped with new desktop and server computers and the
number of over-the-counter sales, both of which would
understate the installed base of a free OS) then giving
Roy a ring might be worthwhile.

Glen
