Safest Sendmail Config for relaying.

Hi,
I am currently setting up a mail server for my own personal use, and was
wondering if anyone could help steer me in the right direction with setting
up a safe relaying and antispamming configuration.

I have been looking at the documentation on sendmail.org but they describe
what each feature does, except they dont tell you which would be the safest
and best to use. ( i know why, because every case is different yes.)

Basically i want to be able to send/recieve mail without and restrictions,
and i also want to be able to send mail remotely. e.g not from my local
domain... like at a friends house or something.

Is there a safe and easy way to set it up, instead of manually adding in all
the domains i think i'm going to send mail too. This of course wouldnt be
the best config because i dont exactly know which domain names i'm going to
send to in the next couple of weeks? :P

Any help would be most appreciated, even sites are great!

Thanx.
Adam W.
