apache - mdk 7.2

howdy all,

mandrake 7.2 installed with apache. the perl side of thigns isnt working. this 
is right from the box - unmodified.

when booting, http and http - perl starts ok.

what can i do to find a fix for this?
security was set to low or there about (on install) from memory.
