Every now and then you get a bit surprised. A couple of months back a
friend bought a USB thing (IIRC an ethernet device) with the
expectation of having a bit of fun writing a Linux driver for it.
Nothing on the box indicated that it might be supported under Linux.
When he got home and opened up the box he found a Turbolinux disk in
it with a driver for Linux :-)
