Oh come now! Algol gave rise to Simula 67, which had class!
Before almost any other language, too!

Did anyone notice on the Matrix where Neo picked a book off his shelf to
take out some sort of recorded info to give to some guy at the door, the
book was something like 'Programming in Simula' ...
