actually, I heard that on average, canada had better adsl performance
because the infrastructure (read: the last mile) was newer than the US.
In some places in the US, you can only dream about 1M adsl. 400K is what
they advertise in some places....
and the US is *still* suffering from poor service with adsl companies,
even though they've had it for longer, and have "settled down"
