Re: Apache 1.3.14 httpd.conf problems

Guys,

Thats not really my problem at the moment, ie. I've found where the
httpd.conf is using locate, and I know that apache is using that one because
when I overwrote the NEW 1.3.14 one with my old 1.3.12 one and restarted
httpd it gave me error messages about php and perl modules so I just
commented them out and restarted until it didnt give error messages anymore.
What I am trying to say here is that now apache does not seem to be picking
up all of my preferences in the httpd.conf ie. my virtual hosts and a couple
of other things like default page, it does not want to change from
index.html (I use index.htm). So apache is kind of half reading it but not
all. Note I am not recieveing any error messages at the moment. What I want
to know is how to fix this.

ie. can I send u guys my httpd.conf ( I dont know how I could do this ) but
there must be some kind of command line thing which will dump it into an
email. I wouldn't have a clue how to do that though.

TIA

michael
