There are a few programs. As always there's a choice, however the most
common one is called "mgetty". It's often got a hyphenated name of
"mgetty+sendfax". If you've installed the HOWTO's there's a tutorial in
/usr/doc/HOWTO (or is it /usr/doc/HOWTO/mini). If I recall correctly,
there's also a lot of comments etc in /usr/doc/mgetty+sendfax-[version
number]...

And if you don't have the howto's there's always
http://www.linuxdoc.org/

Oh, and if you have tons of money (heh) there's the O'Reilly Book called
"Using and Managing PPP".
