RE: Shell Scripts

I'm no shell-script expert by any stretch,
but for shell-script nightmares, try "man bash", j/k
it is quite useful, like all man pages, just dont try 2
print it unless there's a couple spare forests handy to
keep paper up to the printer!

or try:

Subject: Shell Scripts

Hello,

Until now, for the occasional shell scripting I have needed to do, I
have just adapted other peoples' scripts without really understanding
how they work.

This approach has obvious limitations, so can someone point me to useful
resources for a shell-script-newbie?

Thanks,
Richard
