Lol,

I tend find that statements like "i can tell you never did *blah*" are
often euphemisms for "I can tell that you know heaps less about
something I know nothing about than something else that I also know
nothing about."

Of course I could be wrong, but that is why I am suggesting a bias, as
opposed to generalising.
