partition copy problem

so i have a problem with my windows partition...

the problem is this: i can see and delete anything from my windows partition 
but i cant seem to copy anything to it with reliability. KDE seems to lock up 
(and consol) when i try to compy anything to that disk. 

when i say reliability, i am saying that the first of many files may be 
created on the windows partition but not all. infact 5% may be completed.

any idea?
