RE: [OT] OSX on intel
BTW: if you sign up friends to be notified about this site (at the end of
the petition), they get sent a really gumby sounding email:
----
Hey there,
This website is an online petition trying to get Mac OS X ported to the
intel platform. Go check it out at http://www.osxonintel.com I signed it and
you should too!

I recommend that you write your own messages, if you don't want to sound
like that :)
There's no warning about what it is going to send, in fact, it never tells
you want it sent -- I only found out because I sent it to myself...
Shouldnt' there be a rule that says that websites that do this tell you what
they are about to send before they send it, particularly if they make it
look like it comes from you (this one appeared to come from my email
account)... if not, then I would be happy if they wrote it form their
perspective and told people that I referrred them...
hmmm
</grumble>
