Re: cross over cable length

Interesting range of  suggestions, I made the crossover for a friend with two
comps but have not checked the connections, although I have transferred small
files with not too much pain.

I'll try a couple of things, Ill check the cable for correct wiring ( I've done
it many time before but have not checked this one for errors)  If the wiring is
correct Ill shorten it 10m and see if it smoothens out.  Thanks for the comments
