Re: cross over cable length

> Is there a problem with long C/O's

I used to run a 30m X-over between my machines at home before I bought a hub
and it was just fine

I thought I was pushing the limits a bit there but everything worked and it
is now a very well used test cable

If you my advice though, buy yourself a cheap hub and some patch cables
(even a 50m one or re-do your existing cross over cable as a straight
through) and save yourself a lot of heart-ache. It also makes life easier
when you get a few friends around playing games...
