All 802.11b gear has those '10' channels.
Unfortunately the number of *non overlapping* channels is *three*.
So its very, very easy to treat on the toes of someone you're unaware
of (and vice versa), and if the other person doesn't appreciate the
above, then they'll be stepping over not one, but two, of the useable
(i.e. non-overlapping) channel choices as well.
