So they get his agreement.  I've seen a reasonable scenario in an
editorial in c't a few months back.  It's at
http://www.heise.de/ct/00/20/003/, but it's in German, and I don't
feel like translating the whole thing.  Here one section, though:

  e-Linux for e-Business is based on an initiative by IBM Fellow Linus
  Torvalds, who began while still a student to build an operating
  system kernel for his business critical applications.
