Another dimension to pricing that should be attractive to a small telco in
its gambles would be paying the fixed component 12 months in advance. For
the model you outlined that means that nearly all users would not hand
over anything more until the next 12 months came along. What incentive
would you offer to customers in exchange for taking such a blind leap?
Knocking off the installation fee perhaps?
