There is an impressive interactive one in Chicago, and several in London
(quite possibly with large budgets.)
Probably the curatorial expertise required has very little to do with
computing. There are some very good museums around town, ergo, there must
be relevant skills lurking somewhere. Whoever did the Douglas Mawson
floor in the SA Museum could certainly do a pretty good computing display.
There would be ample expertise on tap to give background information.
Mind you I don't think a historical video could be displayed to compare
with men getting blown up icy hills and sailing ships rounding Cape Horn :-)
