I have one that works... unfortunately, I purchased it so long ago that I
don't know what it is :)
it's 56k, internal, not a winmodem, and at one stage, I had it working under
linux... haven't tried it recently, but will do when I get a round tuit.
What I suggest you do is find one, make sure it is not a winmodem (it won't
be the cheapest on the market then, but...), make sure you can return it if
it doesn't work with linux, and try it. That's what I did three years ago
with iNPC (who seem to have recently dissappeared)...
