Rpm dependency

Suse 6.4 kernel 2.2.16


When attempting to instal Gnucash I get the following.

Gomez:/home/bombay # rpm -i gnucash-1.4.9-1.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.2) is needed by gnucash-1.4.9-1
Gomez:/home/bombay #  


If I follow with 

Gomez:/home/bombay # locate libc.so.6
/lib/libc.so.6
/usr/lib/jre1.1.7/lib/i686/green_threads/linuxlibs/libc.so.6
/usr/lib/jre1.1.7/lib/i686/native_threads/linuxlibs/libc.so.6
/usr/local/ftp/lib/libc.so.6
Gomez:/home/bombay #  

Which seems to indicate libc.so.6 is indeed available to rpm & gnucash. 

I wonder where gnucash is looking for this file ?
Should I be looking at a link and where would this be applied ?


NB Where would I find the GLIBC_2.2 version of this file ?
