end of linux and open source - nobody cares!!

The end of linux and open source are boing to happen
in about 6-12 months, and nobody cares!
Even slashdot doesn't seem to cover this.

If you can cope with 4-letter words, here's the pigdog
article on this:

If you have a more mild-mannered style, you might prefer
these (one of which I pointed to a couple of days ago):

Alan Cox opinion:

-----------------------------------------------
Oddly enough, the PigDog idea of what to do about it
is the same as what I thought myself:
But zillions of Gigabytes of disk drives while you
can still get ones that can read and write files
in the normal fashion.
In 6-12 months, you won't be able to get any more
normal disk drives.
You'll need special software and keys to be able to
read and write files or even move them around on the disk.

I.e. linux and open source will die!!!!

Cheers, and Merry Northern Winter Solstice to all!!

Alan Kennington.
