In October I sought advice from this list on connecting a FreeBSD system
to Telstra's ADSL network.  The solution (initially) was non-trivial, but
thanks to Aaron Hill's modification to ng_pppoe.c, eventually obtained.

I have written a (rough!) How-To document which describes the steps taken:

This may be of help to others in a similar circumstance.  I am posting
