Cardbus PC cards and 2.4-test11

Are there are known issue with Cardbus PC cards and kernel 2.4?

Normal 5V 16 bit PC cards work fine, but puting a 3.3V 32 bit
cardbus card into slot 1 says:

> kernel: cs: socket cba0f000 timed out during reset. Try increasing setup_delay.

regardless of the value of setup_delay (numbers up to 500 tested).

OS: Red Hat Linux 7, all current patches
Kernel: linux-2.4.0-test11, PCMCIA configured as modules
PCMCIA user space utils: Red Hat RPM kernel-pcmcia-cs-2.4.0-0.37
Hardware: Dell Latitude CPi H540GT
          3Com 3CCFE575CT-D 10/100 Ethernet 32 bit Cardbus 3.3V

Messages upon /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start without a
cardbus card in slot 1.
