Hmm, it's normally in /tmp/install.log. However, if you don't move it soon,
the cron job that automatically clears out old stuff from /tmp gets rid of
it. (I know, it's happened to me :)

Nope. I have the same problem. My solution is to try running the program
with options like -help and see what they tell me.
