So far, I haven't been able to find any software to convert
jpg or gif files etc. etc. into .ico format.
There'a fair amount of software on the web for converting
in the opposite direction.
Here's my link for this:
http://www.ecomfactory.com/favicons/
But the site doesn't seem to repond to me right now.
I was given som icons by Rod Gasson (I forget the spelling)
so as to not get these error message any more.
My choice was a linux penguin favicon.ico, which you can find here:
http://www.topology.org/favicon.ico
You need to save the file rather than viewing it, of course.
Cheers,
Alan Kennington.
