We have considered all of this.
I actually want ot talk to a perosn preferbly local, about their real
experiences.
The fact that no one has yet said talk to "fred" make me think that my
intial suspicions are correct adn that no one actually does run a
multihomed bgp based border router on a host based box.
In fact for me it is a no brainer no nquesiton.
But otehr people in my organisaiton thisnk it can and should eb done on a
host based machine adn the only differnece is cost.
I don't beleive this to be true but wnat ot be as fair as possibel thus
woudl iek to hear fomr peopel who are using the host absed soltuionnin a
scenario simliar to ours.
