Have a look at Freesco and the Linux Router Project. A miniman Debian
install might be suitable too. The floppy only solutions are good in that
they can run from a write-protected floppy in RAM, which could be
considered a slight bonus for security purposes.
There is a FreeBSD based equivelent project, but I forget the name.
