Yes same tourbles, if i try and upload a file directly from the linux =
pc, it still doesnt go through, starts the transfer and stops a second =
later, after it gets to a max of 16000bytes or so.=20
And i added in the same ipchains line as the other guy has in his, same =
result, Its not a masq problem. thats working fine. im starting to think =
rh7 is dodgy?
I could put in the network card that telstra gave me into the linux box. =
but i would like to know why, that nic inthere has been working in linux =
for about  a year, used to be its primary card when i had a modem =
gateway

Anytime a realtek NIC is part of the troubleshooting equation, a good
idea is to get rid of it ..=20

Do you have the same difficulty uploading from your router PC?
