RE: ADSL Enabled Exchange Areas: Updated 20/11/2000
I personally see nothing wrong with Leigh's plugs for Internode/Agile.
Leigh has regularly sent useful message of interest to linux users, eg,
exchanges that work, and Mark from Internode has also been rather helpful in
explaining more about ADSL to be, so I think Internode/Agile have earnt
their right to at least slightly advertise on this list, especially since
their not being rude about it in any way, not only to mention the support
Internode/Agile have given to LinuxSA (eg, Installfest!).
... On the other hand, that other provider (SeNet) who are throwing in
unsolicited plugs, even naming thier marketing people etc, without providing
any real positive/constuctive assistance to the thread/group i think is
rather inappropriate, especially since the thread was started by an
Internode employee being HELPFUL !
Cheers,
Jeremy

OK, I agree, advertising on this list is not appropriate, and we know
that you work for that ISP. Nevertheless, I think that this
information is interesting enough that we don't need to think of it as
advertising. What do other people think? Should we let Leigh speak?
