I installed a 'dumb default everything' on a laptop last weekend. No
dramas. I did a custom install on a desktop last night, no dramas. More
info about your system and the error, maybe I can help. It looks pretty
good once installed, except I use KDE and I am now wondering what they
did to themes in KDE2!!
