1. Turn off HTML mail in your mail program and you may get more replies
from the list; this is a text-only list and quite a few of the users
have no facilities for viewing HTML mail. If you want instructions on
that, email me (off the list) and I'dd drive you through it.

2. Your BIOS virus checker is most likely looking for a standard MS-DOG
boot sector on the hard disk. If you install anything there that is not
standard MS-DOG then it will probably complain. Since you have
installed Bootmagic, the virus checker thinks that a virus must have
overwritten the boot sector.

The solution is to turn off the virus checker in your BIOS (there will
be an option in the BIOS setup, disable it).

The BIOS virus checker things are AFIK pretty useless for most types of
virii these days, as most of the are VB and javascript hacks that take
advantage of the fact that Outlook/IE will execute them if they are
attached to an email.

Cheers,
Adam
