Yes, that make sence

it has all the correct entrys to /etc/hosts 
& has a zone file for the local IP's (192.168.1.*)
running DNS on the box

*Shrug*
It doesnt matter to much, its not very often that I am not connected 
to the net. (24/7 connections are wonderfull. :)
it was just something i noticed & wondered about from time to time
