Sound Card Support
Hi all.
I have a nice new sound card here (Aopen) with a Yamaha YMF744 chipset
on it. I have downloaded and installed the new ALSA drivers for it and
can get sound, no worries...
I cannot, however, get the MIDI synth, or external MIDI port on the card
going. I have followed the instructions in the ALSA install guide, and
also read the relevent HOWTOS/documentation. I have found nothing about
explicitly enabling MIDI in the card. I know it's there because the
ALSA card list says that it is supported.
Has anyone else got a card based on this chip that got MIDI working on
it?
Cheers,
Adam
