A faq maybe??

Is there a FAQ for this list?
If not perhaps one is in order.
Then we can just say see the faq at <someurl>.
I agree with Lee's point, but then again if we are sick of it maybe we
should fix it.
Personally trolling email archives is not my favourite pastime.
And realistically you need to do this for every question you post, on the
off chance it has been covered recently - just onteh off cahnce it ahs
been recently covered.
I am sure there will be comments.
I would be happy to start compiling a faq, although I should mention time
for such a compilation is not abundant.
