DAT Drive Wierdness

Hi Peoples,

I have a 2/4GB SCSI DAT Drive that I have recently put into one of my
boxes to test out.

It was running really well (Using TapeWare) and backing up everything
etc.

All-of-a-sudden, the tape device (/dev/st0) reports as no device when I
use mt (ie mt -f /dev/st0 rewind) it gives me a "/dev/st0 - no such
device

I also plugged in an external 12/24GB HP DAT Drive which the SCSI bios
picked up on boot, but does not corespond to any devices (ie. /dev/st0
as I would expect it to be)

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can deal with this to get the
devices to exist again.

Note that they exist in the SCSI Bios list when it starts up, but Linux
does not seem to be able to see them. Or does it? Is there something
that I should do that I am not?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Andrew Reid
