Multiple Consoles / Monochrome

Heya all.

I was wondering if anybody has any old monochrome / hercules monitors and/or
cards I could buy. I have found the mgacon kernel module to be that of an
excellent one, as I can run my system log on a mono monitor (which uses
significantly less amounts of electricity than those of VGA monitors).

I notice though with a mono adapter there isnt the scrollback function there
is with VGA cards (ie. Shirft-PgUp).. I would guess as the mono card doesnt
have much video memory.. but is there a way to incorporate a scrollback
function?

Additionally, is it possible to stick multiple ISA VGA cards in a system and
have multiple consoles (not worried about X), i.e. ALT F1-F4 is on monitor
1, F5 - F8 is on monitor 2, etc...

Thanks for your help.

Ryan
