Hi Richard
Yes 'X' is still there.
According to the XFree86 mailing list the Xserver released with RH7 was a hybrid
of their own making, it supported the video cards from 3.3.x.
When I installed RH7 I didn't install 'X' after the install I installed 4.0.1.
