And as I said, from memory.  I haven't had to seriously deal with
this stuff for over 10 years now, so my knowledge on the topic is
at least 10 years out of date (but is still more up to date than the
average consumer).  Which is why it annoys me so when people ring
ISPs and demand to know why their 56K connection doesn't connect
at 56K.  They don't want to know the technical reason, they just
assume it's the ISPs fault.
