It relies on an EDD bios available only on very recent motherboards. Failing
that, it will install 'as normal', providing the /boot directory is below the
limits, otherwise it will scream. The only program I am aware of that
currently garantees a bootable drive is Grub. But, even this program (can) fall
over on UDMA 66 drives.
