Re: FIXED RH 6.2 refuses to install properly
Hey I got Linux to install properly this time. I did it again and had a real
good look at the error file when it came up. Said something about IP
addresses, so I omitted the Name Server and Gateway IP addresses the next
time around a bobs your uncle it worked. Now all I have to figure out is how
to change the resolutions for the monitor. I don't really know what I did
but its set to 640x480 at 256 colours i think. I want it up to 1024x768 at
100Hz at 32Bit colour. How do i do that I am running KDE.. Please give it
step by step, I have no idea what I am doing in linux at the moment, tonight
is the first time I have ever used it.
By the way USB Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer goes spastic it is totally
useless. had to plug in my old intellimouse that worked fine.
Thanks for your help
Regards,
Michael Kratz
