The majority of systems I have worked with give a BIOS option to boot
without a keyboard. When you boot your system you can get to the BIOS
(before the operating system starts to boot), by pressing a key such as
DEL, F10 or F1 depending on the make of machine.

The option to boot without a keyboard is usually listed in the screen
displayed by selecting the first menu item. This may be different for
other machines.

You will most likely not need to tell the machine that there is no monitor
connected, the keyboard is the important thing.

If there is no BIOS option, you could consider plugging in a cheap
keyboard to keep it happy.

Dale.
